Tennessee Memory Disorders

Foundation

Our mission is to provide support for comprehensive community care for those with cognitive disorders and neurodegenerative dementias and to mentor students and professionals to become future leaders in dementia care.

About our foundation

our history

In 2017, Dr. Monica K. Crane founded the Genesis Neuroscience Clinic to diagnose and treat memory disorders, and in 2020 the clinic became a board governed non-profit, now known as Tennessee Memory Disorders Foundation.  Since opening, the clinic has treated over 9,000 patients, and it is set apart by its vision to address the dementia care crisis and provide hope to patients and their families through its progressive treatments and initiatives.

our initiatives

TMDF supports Health Initiatives and Educational Empowerment through:  advancing early detection & precise diagnosis, leading regional clinical trials for Alzheimer’s and related diseases, driving statewide public health change, empowering future healthcare professionals, strengthening caregiver support and family resources, and providing hope and reducing stigma to the greater community.
